Adaora Ikokwu, 23, has emerged winner of the maiden edition of Face of Sylva’s Hair 2012. To achieve this feat, Adaora had to beat 13 other contestants to claim the top prize of N 1 Million (1,000,000), a Kia Car and a trip to Dubai. Other contestants too are not left out of the largesse as 2nd placed winner went home with N 500,000 and fantastic prizes while 3rd placed winner gets N 500,000 Only.
Spearheaded by MGBN 2011 winner, Sylvia Nduka, the contest aims to teach young African women the necessities of developing the culture of a beautiful hairstyle as well as portray beauty, elegance, intelligence and general “Africaness” through the pride of an African woman – Her Hair.
