0 Senate President David Mark Backs Creation of Ijebu State

The Senate President, Mr. David Mark has declared his support for the creation of Ijebu State as well as more states in the country. Mark according to The Daily Post newspaper said this at the 2012 annual Ojude-Oba celebration at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Sunday. The Senate President added that the reason he is in support of more states creation is not because Nigerians cannot afford to live together, but because he wants government to be closer to the people.
